You wake up. It’s been a long journey. Now you understand why these kinds of trips don’t happen very often. You are in your mid 20’s. What a wonderful age. You only have around 180 years left to live, so you better take the most out of it. The best part is that you will always look like your current age.

You have finally arrived on Earth to see your favorite race: humans. It’s not clear if your race is the same as theirs, or if you evolved from them. They were even considered a myth in our galaxy! Anyway, that doesn’t matter now, because you can see and live what humans are like.

So it’s Earthlings’ 1900, the beginning of a new century. What a great period! In the decade following, the men’s first flight came through.

Orville and Wilbur Wright achieved something that everybody thought was impossible. Humans have such courage, huh?

In that decade, humans achieved other great things: assembly lines, music recording, lightbulbs, they even explored the planet’s poles, consumer banking was invented (okay, that one is not so great), and the relativity theory by a person named Einstein. Are you sure this one is not from OUR GALAXY?

In the next decade, something similar happened. An invention called the telephone started to spread over several cities, the Quantum Mechanics theory was developed, and a man started his fight for independence.

Okay, the 1920s! This decade is almost ending and it feels like nothing can go wrong.

1929 Crack

The new decade presents a challenge to the human race. Despite its advancements and new inventions, like electricity, radar, and paper books, there seems to be a lot of tension. It could carry on into the next decade.

And so it did.

On the bright side, the first general-purpose electronic digital computer was completed in 1946, democracy began to spread again, the UN was founded, and a few years later, something called Rock n’ roll started to sound. Humans are not so bad after all (the wars).

In the 1960s, humans surpassed imagination once more. It was the first time they explored space. A new barrier was broken down, new dreams were achieved and new journeys began to happen.

In perspective, it took humans 60something years to get from this:

To this:

Isn’t that amazing? and you’ve got the chance to see both of these things! Did you ever think humans could make such big jumps in only 6 decades?

Those happenings have changed the way humans live their lives on several occasions, but as time keeps going on, changes are considerably faster.

1980
1990

and faster…

2000
2007!

The biggest jump of the century took 60 years, but after that, the next big jump only took 20, then 10, and now just 7 years.

Humans are both fascinating and awesome! You start to believe they underappreciate themselves. They have accomplished so much and yet they keep focusing on the little bad things.

Were those individuals brilliant? Were they from other galaxies? Maybe they just weren’t afraid to pursue their dreams. That’s what makes them different from others.

Maybe this guy IS from another galaxy

So human life has changed again. Facebook and other social networks turned the tables once more. Smartphones are now almost extensions of our own bodies. There is an APP for everything now. Hungry? no problem. Lonely? No problem either. Are you stuck somewhere? Guess what… No problem.

It’s surprising the way humans adapt to these changes. They create progress but also invent themselves new professions and jobs to pursue. They stay relevant, they survive, which is fantastic on its own.

It’s almost the end of 2017. It is time for you to go back to your own galaxy. You have spent the last century analyzing and watching your favorite races in the universe. Home is certainly calling.

But with AI, big data, the Bitcoin (so-called) bubble, and all the technology right now, AND… all the things that are happening around the world, curiosity is starting to pop. It would be really stupid to leave the planet now. The biggest jump is about to come.

You feel more human than ever now. You have seen others’ achievements and mistakes through history. You have achieved great things on your own and also made huge and stupid mistakes. That’s what makes us human, after all.

What is next? You can not just simply watch. It is time for you to take your part in human history. Change the way we eat, drink water, I don’t know, change the way we understand finance, help to eradicate poverty, hunger, war, give the internet to everybody on Earth, start exploring other planets, other fuel technologies, by helping just ONE person to make his/her life better. You have changed that person’s world. Don’t be afraid to start small. Take action.

It starts now. Others will remember you for your achievements, the progress you created, how much you helped others. Your family and friends will love you for how you treat them.

And it will start within the next couple of days. 2018: Your greatest story ever told.

This one is from space also!
